Committees
Farm
City Committee
This committee plans and produces the Chamber’s Farm-City
Banquet and various other activities to celebrate the connection
between agriculture and business in the Lebanon Valley.
ALERT
(A Lebanon Economic Resource Team)
The Mission of ALERT
is to notify Lebanon County employers of services available from
ALERT agencies, to provide these services to companies that are
considering closing or contracting and their employees, and to promote
an Industry Cluster-Based approach to Workforce Development planning
in Lebanon County.
Ambassadors
Committee
The Ambassadors will serve as goodwill ambassadors to new
members and current members of the Chamber at functions throughout
the year. This committee assists with Business After Hours events
as well as "Operation Thank You”, the annual distribution of
directories.
Business at the Expo & Job Fair Committee
This committee plans and produces the Chamber’s business-to-
business trade show.
Golf Outing Committee
This committee is charged with the production of the Annual
Golf Outing.
Government Affairs Committee
This committee is responsible for reviewing proposed legislation,
making recommendations on Chamber policy to the Board of Directors
and hosting events to keep the membership in contact with legislators.
It presents Eggs & Issues Breakfasts and Public Affairs Roundtable
Programs throughout the year, focusing on issues facing the local
business community.

Leadership Lebanon Valley (LLV)
Each year, twenty or more new and emerging community leaders,
from many aspects of our community, enroll in our Chamber’s community
leadership program. The Board of Governors of LLV produces this
program. A series of full day programs which occur monthly are planned,
dealing with specific aspects of the community.
Member
Benefits Committee
Identifies, develops and
recommends new Chamber endorsed programs for offering to the Chamber's
membership. Continually evaluates the Chamber's existing group benefit
programs to insure their continued value to the Chamber and its
member employers.
Membership
Development Committee
Contributes
to the growth of the Chamber by recruiting new members and identifying
approaches for involving other members in this effort. Assists in
organinzing the annual membership campaign.
Military
Affairs Committee
The members of this
committee serve as the liaison between the military at Fort Indiantown
Gap and our local business community.
Picnic Committee
This committee is charged with the production of the annual
Winter and Summer picnics for member businesses and employees.
Small
Business Enterprises Committee
This committee is responsible for planning and producing
the Chamber’s Business EDGE series of educational seminars and the
Apprentice Challenge for area high school students. It also sponsors
the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award and the Small Business Person of
the Year Award, both awarded at the Small Business in the Lebanon
Valley Awards Luncheon.
Technology
& Telecommunications Committee
Identifies
and pursues technology projects and issues to enhance the economic
vitality and quality of life in the Lebanon Valley.
Women
in Business Committee
This committee provides women in business with an opportunity
to network during breakfast/luncheon meetings, and to build peer
group relationships. They also produce a dinner/seminar series and
other educational workshops.
