Unveils New Logo
New branding campaign focuses on members and advocacy

LEBANON, PA – The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce unveiled a new logo today as part of its new branding campaign. Fresh Creative, a Chamber member business located at 814 Cumberland Street in Lebanon, developed the new logo design for the Chamber. The design features bolder colors than the Chamber’s current logo and a graphic design representing the Lebanon Valley.
“As part of the Chamber’s strategic plan, we began the process last year of evaluating how we could improve communication with our members and the community,” said Thomas Buzby, Chair of the Chamber Board. “A committee was formed to evaluate our past communications efforts and to recommend changes that would better allow us to fulfill our mission to be a catalyst for positive change in the community. One of those recommendations was to adopt a new branding campaign and logo to support these efforts.” The branding campaign will showcase how the Chamber works to improve the quality of life and the business climate and opportunities throughout Lebanon County.
In the development of the Chamber’s new logo, several Chamber member businesses submitted logo designs to help meet the Chamber’s new vision, mission and focus. A member advisory committee selected the logo that was designed by Fresh Creative. The Logo Selection Committee was chaired by William Mulligan of Good Samaritan Health System and also included Kenneth Phelps of Harrisburg Area Community College – Lebanon Campus, Christopher Straka of WLBR/WQIC, and Margie Yohn of BeYond Mail Processing.
“The logo helps to create your first impression with the public,” noted Chamber President & CEO Larry Bowman, CCE. “This is truly a fresh design. The bold use of blue and orange creates a sense of vibrancy while the valley motif reflects our region. The logo reflects the hard work and dedication of our members and the Lebanon Valley’s business community. It will serve us well in helping to communicate our efforts to enhance the business climate and improve the quality of life throughout the Lebanon Valley.”
Initially, the logo will appear on the Chamber’s letterhead and business cards. Over time, the new logo will be incorporated into the organization’s website, newsletter, brochures and other communications tools.
“We are grateful for the generous donation of time and talent by our member businesses who submitted logo designs and ideas and to our committee members who provided the thorough review that led to the recommendation of our new logo to our Board,” Bowman said.
